**Complaint - motor finance agreement {{agreement_ref}}**

      Dear Sirs,

I am making a formal complaint about the motor finance agreement listed above.

      - Agreement reference: **{{agreement_ref}}**
      - Start date: **{{agreement_date}}**
      - Vehicle: **{{vehicle_details}}**
      - Amount of credit: **£{{credit_amount}}**

I believe my agreement may have involved a **discretionary commission arrangement** (DCA) or undisclosed commission paid to the broker that arranged the finance. This is the subject of the FCA's review announced on 11 January 2024 and the Court of Appeal judgment in *Johnson v FirstRand Bank Ltd [2024] EWCA Civ 1282*.

      I request:

      1. A full breakdown of all commission paid to the broker.
      2. Whether the broker had discretion to set my interest rate.
      3. Confirmation of whether commission was disclosed to me at the point of sale.
      4. A copy of all documents you hold on this agreement.

Please treat this as a formal complaint under DISP. I look forward to your final response within **8 weeks**, after which I reserve the right to escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

      Yours faithfully,
